Within the first edition of KULTURA, artists, language/type, and tribes were the main topics. Artists shape and influence the direction of history, within the Philippines Apo Whang-Od continues to shape history by passing down and educating others about traditional tribal tattooing. Through the colonization of multiple countries, the Philippines adapted and over time developed a script of their own. Lastly, several indigenous tribes still exsist within our society today, and there are several in the Philippines. Some are private, and some have adapted and become more open to the developing world.
